Chew-Proof Electrical Cords....

Babies do it...Cats do it...Bunnies do it...Ferrets do it...and Dogs do it too ! I'm talking about chewing on cords--- an expensive and potentially electrifying habit. There are several types of products to  help with this gnawing issue available.. 
My suggestions are to invest in  cord protectors, training aides (non-toxic sprays that taste bad and/or a spray bottle of plain water), and offering a lot of acceptable alternatives like toys,bones, and your ex-boyfriends shoes...
Split loom tubing shown to the right (also called split wire loom) is available in many colors for about $13 / 100 feet at amazon.com or home improvement stores. Good Luck ! :)
